Sikhs

My day started with telling some racist in India, that Sikhs are not Keshdhari Hindus.when I was trying to tell him to be a person with open mind, only thing coming in my head was 1984. Has he forgotten about that? When the Sikhs were brutally murdered, massacred in India. It was just one race against another. People belonging to one religion we're killing, torturing others. We all know and now we don't we say it anymore. Now everyone is trying to pretend it never happened and even in Punjab instead of having a memorial service they had Kabbadi cup in those days. These things are not good. Then few days back when 101 year old Fauja Singh had the olympic torch no Indian TV channel covered his run, 2 days later when Amitabh did the same each channel was talking about the honour. Isnt Fauja Singh an Indian.. or his crime is to be born as a Sikh? Then there is this Youtube Channel guy who made fun of Fauja Singh and made jokes about his marathon running, 1984. As per him it is funny to say Tyter aaya and make the sikhs run. Although if Tytler is so called "innocent" and he has not done anything wrong, why he used Specifically Tytler's name. No one will question that. We Sikhs will get mad at this and start sharing the video and giving the darn guy publicity. Why not just post a link and say - please flag this video and report this channel. No, we Sikhs are knwon for our bravery. Or should I call it our hot headed-ness. In morning I am telling this Hindu ( now you would be thinking what a racist, about me, but think- Am i the racist one ?) After few hours I came to know another really sad news about Wisconsin Gurudwara sahib where a gunman shot many innocent people. It was planed hit as the gun men were hiding inside the Gurughar. Hate crime in India. Hate crime in U.S. What is it? I think it is time for Sikhs to smarten up and instead of just getting either mad or making fun of themselves, they should be thinkers and working on a lot of things with intelligence. It's about time now. Otherwise ...
