I am the last person to follow any news. The news I read or hear specially the sad or upsetting ones wont go away from my head. I will be thinking about them, dreaming or should I say having nightmares.
3 days ago I read a post about a very brave woman who survived a rape. She was just 17 at that time. I had a nightmare about that. I was there but I wasnt able to help her. What a curse that you can see things, feel the pain but you cant help.
In Dec2012 there was a bad bad incident happened and it was almost same as the incident above. A brutal sadistic rape. Poeple were asking for prison and death sentence and the way the news channels were giving detauils about the incident I felt, this isnt the last. All sort of people watch TV and news. Read them. These details are feeding a lot of sadist people. People who are mentally ill but no one around them knows. Even they dont know. But they can get bad energy from all that and put it all in wrong doings.
Sadly, it again happened. Once again the media is giving away so many details. WHY?? Why cant these people understand that they are creating a monster. A serial monster. This monster isnt even one person. It is in so many people around us.
All you can do lately is keep yourself and your loved ones safe. It should be the first priority anyways. Why wont a family look for their kid with the help of all those "good samaritans" who were later holding candles for them.
Here is something we can think or talk about - People in India specially wont come to help but later on they will be the first ones to blame the society and government. They expect government should make rules so people wont do anythng bad. They wont take responsibility for their acts. All they want is the government and police to be doing each and every job in the world. Later they say Police is being a bully or bossy etc.When you give absolute power to someone it makes them corrupt as well.
When you wont even do what you are supposed to do what can happen to your society.
This is the real question. What will happen. Dont clean your clothes for few days. dpnt clean your car or your shoes your closet or your house.
See what happened. It got filthy. Same happens with community, society, state or country.
We are making our surroundings filthy.
You might say - What can I do.
Good question. You have to clean your surroundings but make sure you dont move all the garbage to your neighbour's house. Coz that isnt cleaning. It is only making it more messy.
When you demand the justice for the latest case that is happening, have you ever asked yourself what happened to the last one. Are the people who did wrong behind the bars or still out? They might be right next to you in next Candle march. Isnt it. What happened to Jessica Lall Case? It was one high profile case with so many eye-witnesses but the person who did it, belongs to rich family and they made sure the case goes as cold case in files.
Have you ever wondered about the Guwahati molestation that happened in the middle of street and it was instigated by a Press Reporter who wanted juicy news. He paid those guys to do that. What happened to that girl? Where are those guys? At large? With them at large, dont you ever feel they might be more courageous now to do something even worse?
Are you among those who would say - Rape only happens to the women who dress in a certain way. Is that right? You must a conservative person. A very close minded conservative person. Just like that Republican leader who said- Women wont get pregannat with rape coz if it is real rape the body wont make you pregnant. Is that so? Who made you an expert dude. Ma be he has first hand experience..eh.
whatever.. Couple of day ago on facebook one of my friends had a picture posted about - REAL MEN DONT RAPE AND REAP WOMEN DONT EXPOSE.
Hmmmmm.. is that right? wht exactly is exposing. Men in INdia can make a women feel naked only by staring at them continusly and lecherously. So what would exposing do? Another thing - If thats the case then why child abuse happens? why women in Arabic countries or Pakistan get raped. They are under BURKA all the time.
Its not women who has to change their attire for not to get raped but the men should have a leash on their "manhood" which isnt even manhood if he is worse than a stray.
Now most of the people are asking for Death sentence for Rape. Is it really right thing? How would you know if the person who is proven guilty is the guilty? what would you do when a rapist will kill the victim? Who would prove him guilty?
People are giving examples of Saudi Arabia who a rapist can be killed in days after proven guilty.Do you even know how long of a process can it be there? It is a total male dominating society and first of all, a woman doest even file a complaint coz if she wont be able to prove she will be the one stoned till death, for being a woman of loose morals. People in India cant even focus on one Cause. They wont all stand for one THING. ONE CAUSE. ONE NATION. They are always working for their own religion and in their religion for their caste. In their caste for their last name. ...... endless story.
