The Spiderwick Chronicles
Yesterday, when me, Rai & Tristan were done our supper, we surfed the TV for "puttu movie", there it was, a new movie on PPV. It was about to start in 5 minutes. I made the popcorn so if we wanna snack in between we have something, also Tristan didn't eat his meal properly.
Within first ten minutes, I was thinking bad choice as the little boy in the movie was very rude to his mom and I was thinking what would Rai learn, anyways we didn't change. I expressed my concern and Rai didn't even notice what was going on. Then came an argument in son and mom, son went on expedition with his siblings to save the whole family. Then he realized what if he never goes back and the last words he has said to his mom are "I hate you". Then Rai said " No matter what happens mom always love you, you win or lose she is always proud of you". Isn't it mommy. I was so happy, so over whelmed.
Then mom came home and they had a little talk, mom was just being over protective like any mother, she doesn't want to let him know that he and his dad are having problems. Dad lied and never told son.Then all the three kids and mother fight together and get rid of those ogres. I know sounds funny. But the movie was a awesome experience when you watch it with your kid and feel it like your kid is feeling it.
When it finished and we went to bedroom, felt like we are leaving the movie theatre.
Rai knows that it was all a movie but Tristan took a few things a little serious, the monsters etc. But in the morning he forgot everything.
I love watching movies with Rai. I love him.
