Parenting is learning everyday!

As all the other parents, I try to be the best mother.In my journey of motherhood, I had all the vision pretty clear, love my children and let them know I am always with them, on their side, watching their back, making sure to defend them when needed and fight for them.

I always tell them all this. They know it. I am glad that they know it.

During all this, I myself forgot one precious lesson - Let them be who they are. When did I miss that? I do not know but while talking to my husband I realized that. I was trying to raise perfect kids and somewhere in that I am not letting them be who they are.

Being a good mother means, accepting them as they are. My kids are already one of the best kids any parent can for. I was still to make sure they get even better. I guess being raised in India do that to you. whether you realize or not you become pushy. I hope my phase of trying to raise them as perfect prototype wasn't for too long.

Anyways, I believe in signs and I know God is always on my side, He will make sure I am on the right track on being a good person, wife, mother and friend. May be thats why, today, all of the days, today Tyler Perry wrote about being a good parent and it brought tears to my eyes. I couldn't stop crying,. Ajay was surprised what happened.

The lines -

" Do you know how special your child is? Do you know who God has put into your house? I know sometimes you think it's just your child but I'm sure many parents of children who went on to change this world had no idea who was sleeping down the hall from them."

I couldn't think any thing but feel - Do I really know who God has put into my house.

They are already better and evolved than me, who am I to try to make them perfect. They are perfect as they are.

I pray to God that I always remember this message rest of my life.
Thank you God for showing me the right path.
I am blessed, I know that, I have seen proof after proof in my every day.
